The Class of 1972 held its 40 Year Class Reunion on 15–16 June 2012 at Hampton Inn and Suites – North and Pinecrest Country Club in Longview, TX.

The Reunion Room will be set up at Hampton Inn and Suites for Friday and Saturday.
Friday, 15 June 2012 – Reunion RoomNo host event at Hampton Inn and Suites Longview North. We will have finger food, soft drinks, mixes, but BYOB.** Goal is to just hang out, bring your annuals (Mark Mosley has his elementary ones from Judson). Socialize and have fun. Marty Baumgardner has the tunes, and Alan Spaeth will be having a slide show of past reunions and photos running.** Dress – casual, shorts, etc.
Saturday, 16 June 2012 – Golf Tournament at Wood Hollow Golf Club(check in at 8:30 a.m. with rounds beginning at 9:00 a.m.)This is a social event, and the course will have a snack bar to buy drinks and food.** Goal is to have fun and just hang out on golf carts. Billy Writt will be the Golf Marshall for the event.** This is open for spouses and kids.** Dress – casual, shorts, golf appropriate

40th Reunion – 12–14 October 2012
Members of the Class of 1972 planned additional 40 Year Reunion activities during the weekend of 12–14 October 2012. About 40 classmates participated. Class of 1972 – it seems that the weekend of 12– 14 October 2012 is just full of events for the Longview High School Class of 1972. Two groups of classmates are planning events on that weekend. ANOTHER REUNION OPPORTUNITY
Attention Classmates:
I have been asked to forward this opportunity to Celebrate! It has been 40 years since we walked across the threshold of excitement toward the grand hope of life’s great opportunities. We departed with the song “We’ve Only Just Begun.” After 40 years, you can “CELEBRATE” for overcoming many hurdles of life. So, a few dedicated classmates have organized this Fall event, and everyone is invited to participate for a great time. So, if you missed the event in June, there is another chance to visit with classmates.
On 12, 13, and 14 October 2012, there will be a celebration of the Longview Class of 1972. It will consist of the following events:
